It's better that we are hurt by others,
Rather than choose to hurt yourself.

We can not forever hide in the cave to avoid social life in the public.
There are criminals who actually scolding and cursing his victims,
And still feel himself as a clean person who will go to heaven.
There are those who harass and oppress the dignity of others,
But still feel entitled to curse the victim.
There are people who are arrogant to dictate the lives of others,
But still feel himself as a law-abiding person and has been fair.
There is someone who only wants to use his own rules of play when dealing with others,
It is as if he himself is the most powerful and most entitled to determine the rules of others.
Even,
Himself may feel not subject to state law,
And feel the law of his own, which is most worthy of enactment.
A guest should first introduce himself to the host,
Not the guest who asked the host to introduce himself first.

Lebih baik kita yang disakiti oleh orang lain,
Daripada memilih untuk menyakiti diri sendiri.
Lebih baik kita yang takut untuk berbuat jahat,
Daripada takut menjadi korban kejahatan.
Kita tidak dapat menghidar sepenuhnya ketika ada orang-orang jahat hendak menyakiti kita.
Kita tidak dapat selamanya bersembunyi dalam gua untuk menghindari kehidupan sosial di tengah publik.
Ada penjahat yang justru memarahi dan memaki korbannya,
Dan tetap merasa dirinya sebagai orang bersih yang akan masuk surga.
Ada orang-orang yang melecehkan dan menindas harkat dan martabat orang lain,
Namun tetap merasa berhak untuk memaki sang korban.
Ada orang-orang yang bersikap arogan mendikte hidup orang lain,
Namun tetap merasa dirinya sebagai orang yang taat hukum dan telah bersikap adil.
Ada seseorang yang hanya mau memakai aturan mainnya sendiri ketika berhubungan dengan orang lain,
Seakan dirinya sendiri yang paling berkuasa dan paling berhak menentukan peraturan milik orang lain.
Bahkan,
Dirinya mungkin merasa tidak tunduk pada hukum negara,
Dan merasa hukum buatan dan miliknya sendiri yang paling layak diberlakukan.
Seorang tamu seharusnya terlebih dahulu memperkenalkan diri kepada tuan rumah,
Bukan sang tamu yang meminta tuan rumah untuk memperkenalkan diri terlebih dahulu.
Namun,
Lihatlah keadaan saat ini,
Semua etika komunikasi telah dijungkir-balikkan.
Ketika seseorang bertamu ke rumah orang lain,
Maka, sang tamu wajib menundukkan diri pada aturan yang diberlakukan oleh sang tuan rumah,
Bukan sebaliknya,
Sang tamu yang justru mendikte aturan main di rumah yang dikunjunginya.
Namun,
Lihatlah fenomena sosial sekarang ini,
Tamu-tamu yang besar kepala merasa berhak untuk menjajah tuan rumah,
Menjadi berkuasa diatas rumah sang pemilik rumah.
Demikian mudahnya orang-orang saat kini melecehkan orang lain,
Memutar-balik keadaan,
Memutar-balik fakta,
Memutar-balik hak dan kewajiban,
Memutar-balik harkat dan martabat,
Bahkan memutar-balik prinsip-prinsip dasar hubungan antar manusia,
Memutar-balik prinsip emas keadilan,
Memutar-balik prinsip kemanusiaan.
Tidak mengherankan,
Bila kemudian lahir orang-orang yang berani membunuh manusia lainnya,
Namun dengan penuh keyakinan dirinya akan tetap masuk surga setelah membanjiri tangannya dengan darah orang lain.
Kita dapat menyebutnya sebagai,
Era panyakit sosial.
Bagai wabah yang menjangkiti masyarakat luas dengan demikian masif dan mencengkeram erat watak perilaku manusia kontemporer.
Tiada kata yang lebih tepat,
Untuk menyebutnya sebagai,
Petaka bagi dunia dan petaka bagi peradaban umat manusia.
Kini,
Bukan lagi Tuhan yang mendikte manusia,
Namun,
Manusia yang mendikte Tuhan.
Selamat datang di dunia yang kian menggila ini.
Hukum dikuasai oleh mereka yang berkuasa dan kuat secara materi.
Yang lemah,
Akan selalu tertindas,
Dan hanya mampu menerima nasib.
Yang lemah akan kian tersisih,
Yang kuat kian besar kepala.
Menyedihkan.
Namun hidup harus terus berjalan.
Tiada yang kekal.
Segalanya berubah.
Lewat perjuangan tanpa kenal letih,
Kita harus terus berjuang melawan ketidakadilan dan segala kegilaan tersebut.
Setidaknya,
Kita harus menjadi tuan bagi pikiran kita sendiri.
Itu sudah lebih dari cukup,
Dan menjadi prestasi tersendiri bagi kita di tengah kegilaan dunia ini.
