Even if we believe,
And very sure about it,
That the earth is flat and not round,
That the sun revolves around the earth, not the other way around,
That the moon was split by the supernatural power of a human being,
That heaven is eternal without suffering,
That life is a gift is not a result of karma,
That human beings are born like clean white paper, not born with the
potential of the defilements of the previous life,
In fact the Earth is still round even if we deny it,
In fact the earth still revolves around the sun, not vice versa,
In fact there is a lunar eclipse is not a split moon,
In fact the gods creatures still can die when the fruit of their good karma
runs out,
In fact we need to plant something to be able to pick something,
In fact our stomach is never satisfied just by believing our stomach is
full.
Sure or unsure,
Deny or not deny,
The earth is still round,
And the sun is still spinning on its own plot,
Not subject to what is believed by human.
Even though people are eager to believe in something,
Reality moves based on the law of nature and how it works alone.
Like,
A criminal believes himself to be clean from sin through the abolition of
sin,
Therefore believes he will go to heaven,
Nonetheless,
He can not rule the law of karma.
Like,
A good-hearted and never hurt any creature,
Always giving charity and noble character,
Though he was not sure of heaven,
Though he was not sure he would go to heaven,
Still, he can be born in the realm of the gods.
This earth exists and the creatures that inhabit it,
Not that because there is a creator figure.
Because there is noon,
Then exist night.
Because there is a dark,
Then there is light.
Because something exists,
Then there is a vacuum.
Because there is nothing,
Then there is the one that exists.
Because there are planets that die in the galaxy,
Then there is the living planet in the solar system.
Because there is a living planet in the universe,
Then there is the planet that died in this universe.
Because there are stars that glow,
Then there is a black hole that sucks light.
Because there is a dark hole that is dark and frightening,
Then there is the sun which is full of color and warms.
There is nothing special about something that exists in existence,
Because of something that exists into existence due to the existence of
which does not exist.
Because there is something that does not exist,
Then there is the one that exists.
Same as,
Because there is the positive pole,
Then there is the negative pole.
There was born,
Then there is death.
As well as,
There is death,
Then there is the birth.
All goes naturally,
In his own way,
There is or is not a human being who believes,
There is or no human being on this earth,
There is or there is no God in the universe.
The presence or absence of God in this world,
Bad people remain evil character.
There is or there is no God in the universe,
The Buddha is still good.
Even if you believe in a poisonous food as non-toxic,
You will still die if you eat it.
The same,
Even if we deny,
And very, very denying,
That the law of karma governing the circulation of the world and human
being,
Still every creature is subject to the law of karma,
Unable to bid.
Even if we deny,
And do not acknowledge,
That rotting garbage is foul smelling,
Still, the garbage smells rotten and sting.
In principle,
Between believing and denying,
It makes no difference,
Equally irrational,
Equally a form of ignorance of oneself.
Those who are good at believing things,
Always also clever to deny something.
Because they live in a mirage level,
Not honesty with life.
Looking honestly,
It means living by acknowledging everything as it is,
Not as we want to believe.
Is it that difficult, honest with yourself?
Lying to yourself,
Always sweet at first,
And always bitter in the end.
Because there is a sweet,
Then there is a bitterness.
When we are ready to swallow the bitter pill,
Then we are ready to swallow the sweet pills.
And also apply the opposite law.

Sekalipun kita meyakini,
Dan sangat amat meyakini,
Bahwa bumi adalah datar dan
tidak bulat,
Bahwa matahari berputar
mengelilingi bumi, bukan sebaliknya,
Bahwa bulan pernah dibelah
oleh kesaktian seorang sosok manusia,
Bahwa surga adalah kekal
tanpa penderitaan,
Bahwa hidup adalah pemberian
bukan akibat dari buah karma ,
Bahwa manusia terlahir
bagaikan kertas putih bersih, bukan terlahir membawa potensi kekotoran batin
dari kehidupan sebelumnya,
Nyatanya bumi tetap saja
bundar sekalipun kita memungkirinya,
Nyatanya bumi tetap berputar
mengelilingi matahari, bukan sebaliknya,
Nyatanya yang ada ialah
gerhana bulan bukan bulan yang terbelah,
Nyatanya para makhluk dewata
dapat meninggal dunia ketika buah karma baiknya habis,
Nyatanya kita perlu menanam
sesuatu untuk dapat memetik sesuatu,
Nyatanya perut kita tidak
pernah kenyang hanya dengan meyakini perut kita penuh.
Yakin atau tidak yakin,
Memungkiri atau tidak
memungkiri,
Bumi tetap saja bundar,
Dan matahari tetap saja
berputar pada alurnya sendiri,
Tidak tunduk pada apa yang
diyakini manusia.
Sekalipun manusia sangat
ingin meyakini sesuatu,
Realita bergerak berdasarkan
hukum dan cara kerjanya sendiri.
Bagaikan,
Seorang penjahat meyakini
dirinya bersih dari dosa lewat penghapusan dosa,
Meyakini dirinya oleh karena
itu akan masuk surga,
Tetap saja,
Dirinya tak bisa mengatur
hukum karma.
Bagaikan,
Seorang yang baik hati dan
tidak pernah menyakiti makhluk manapun,
Senantiasa berderma dan
berwatak mulia,
Sekalipun dirinya tidak yakin
akan surga,
Sekalipun dirinya tidak yakin
dirinya akan masuk surga,
Tetap saja ia dapat terlahir
di alam dewata.
Bumi ini eksis beserta makhluk-makhluk
yang menghuninya,
Bukan berarti karena ada
suatu sosok pencipta.
Karena ada siang,
Maka eksis malam.
Karena ada gelap,
Maka ada terang.
Karena ada yang eksis,
Maka ada yang hampa.
Karena ada yang hampa,
Maka ada yang eksis.
Karena ada planet yang mati
di galaksi,
Maka ada planet yang hidup di
tata surya.
Karena ada planet yang hidup
di jagat raya,
Maka ada planet yang mati di
semesta ini.
Karena ada bintang yang
bercahaya,
Maka ada lubang hitam yang
menyedot cahaya.
Karena ada lubang hitam yang gelap
pekat dan menakutkan,
Maka ada matahari yang penuh
warna dan menghangatkan.
Tidak ada yang istimewa dari
sesuatu yang eksis keberadaannya,
Karena sesuatu yang eksis
menjadi ada karena keberadaan yang tidak eksis.
Karena ada sesuatu yang tidak
eksis,
Maka ada yang eksis.
Sama seperti,
Karena ada kutup positif,
Maka ada kutup negatif.
Ada lahir,
Maka ada kematian.
Sama halnya,
Ada kematian,
Maka ada kelahiran.
Semua berjalan secara
alamiah,
Dengan cara kerjanya sendiri,
Ada atau tidak ada manusia
yang meyakini,
Ada atau tidak ada manusia di
muka bumi ini,
Ada atau tidak ada Tuhan di
semesta ini.
Ada atau tidak adanya Tuhan
di dunia ini,
Orang jahat tetaplah jahat
karakternya.
Ada atau tidak ada Tuhan di
semesta ini,
Sang Buddha tetaplah baik.
Sekalipun kau meyakini sebuah
makanan beracun sebagai tidak beracun,
Kau tetap akan mati bila
memakannya.
Sama juga,
Sekalipun kita memungkiri,
Dan sangat amat menyangkal,
Bahwa hukum karma yang
mengatur perputaran dunia dan manusia,
Tetap saja setiap makhluk
tunduk pada hukum karma,
Tanpa dapat menawar.
Sekalipun kita menyangkal,
Dan tidak mengakui,
Bahwa sampah yang membusuk
adalah berbau busuk,
Tetap saja sampah itu berbau
busuk dan menyengat.
Pada prinsipnya,
Antara meyakini dan
menyangkal,
Tidak ada bedanya,
Sama-sama tidak rasional,
Sama-sama wujud kebodohan
diri sendiri.
Mereka yang pandai meyakini
sesuatu,
Selalu juga pandai untuk
menyangkal sesuatu.
Karena mereka hidup dalam
tataran fatamorgana,
Bukan kejujuran terhadap
hidup yang ada.
Melihat secara jujur,
Berarti hidup dengan mengakui
segala sesuatu apa adanya,
Bukan sebagaimana kita ingin
meyakini.
Apakah sesukar itu, jujur
terhadap diri sendiri?
Berbohong pada diri sendiri,
Selalu manis pada awalnya,
Dan selalu pahit pada
akhirnya.
Karena ada yang manis,
Maka ada yang pahit.
Ketika kita siap menelan pil
pahit,
Berarti kita siap menelan pil
yang manis rasanya.
Dan juga berlaku hukum yang sebaliknya.
