Self confidence or confidence, which is true,
Never know the terms.

A millionaire, successful businessmen, even a president,
Will not be confident to face the god of death when death before.
But are the savings on a variety of good deeds,
Which is a provision for a person to welcome the arrival the god of death.
Beauty or handsomeness,
It can be a capital of confidence,
But when the beauty or handsomeness damaged by a disaster,
Is he going to hide behind the room for a lifetime?
When he identifies confidence, with the likeness of a face,
Then he would put an end to life when beauty or handsomeness of his face
broken.
True self-confidence,
Constructed from the determination,
Inner beauty,
Forged from the morale,
Carved from the achievement,
Inaugurated in the conquest against the self-delusion.
All the limitations of oneself do not become an obstacle for someone who is
confident to actualize.
A Buddha,
Although, only wearing a robe from the ex burial shroud,
Remain confident when dealing with the gods,
In fact the whole god, king of the gods, but also in the eyes of Brahma,
Bowed to the Buddha.
You do not need to invite the respect from the people who are only able to
salute to those who are wealthy or powerful.
It is enough for us to invite respectful from the noble beings from the gods
realm.
Stupid people, assess the achievements from the the temporary earthly
viewpoint.
A wise man, will judge based on generosity.
A hermit,
Although poor because they do not have any possessions,
Confident to face the gods and the powerful Brahma,
It is not even afraid to face the the king ofdeath.
The Buddha who is an Arahat in Nibbana,
Even the god of death no longer dare to touch an Arahat,
Comply fully respect the Arahat, noble and has been perfect.
Source confidence is in the hearts and souls of ourselves,
Not of the world outside ourselves.

Kepercayaan diri atau percaya
diri, yang sejati,
Tidak pernah mengenal syarat.
Bila kita hanya merasa mampu
untuk bersikap percaya diri,
Ketika orang lain memuja muji
diri kita,
Maka itu bukanlah kepercayaan
diri,
Namun percaya diri yang semu,
Karena bergantung pada
pengakuan orang lain,
Bergantung pada apa yang ada
diluar diri kita sendiri.
Yang disebut dengan percaya
diri,
Ialah tetap teguh dan berdiri
mantap dengan pendirian diri kita,
Sekalipun orang lain bersikap
tidak adil dan tidak patut terhadap diri kita.
Percaya diri tidak mengenal
syarat.
Percaya diri tidak ada hubungan
dengan kebesaran diri.
Bahkan seekor semut yang
kecil,
Tetap berani dan dengan
percaya diri memanjat tubuh seorang manusia yang bagai makhluk raksasa di mata kaum
semut-semut kecil itu.
Semut yang kecil mungil itu tidak
gentar menghadapi manusia.
Kepercayaan diri pun tidak
berkaitan dengan harta kekayaan ataupun kekuasaan politik.
Seorang milioner, pengusaha
sukses, bahkan seorang presiden,
Tidak akan percaya diri
menghadapi dewa kematian ketika ajal menjelang.
Namun adalah tabungan atas
berbagai perbuatan bajik,
Yang menjadi bekal bagi
seseorang menyambut kedatangan sang dewa kematian.
Kecantikan atau ketampanan,
Memang menjadi modal
kepercayaan diri,
Namun ketika kecantikan atau
ketampanan rusak karena suatu musibah,
Apakah dirinya akan bersembunyi
di balik kamar untuk seumur hidup?
Ketika dirinya mengidentikkan
kepercayaan diri dengan rupa wajah,
Maka dirinya akan mengakhiri
hidup ketika kecantikan atau ketampanan wajahnya rusak.
Kepercayaan diri yang sejati,
Dibangun dari kebulatan hati,
Kecantikan didalam diri,
Ditempa dari semangat juang,
Ditoreh dari prestasi,
Dikukuhkan dalam penaklukkan
terhadap kebodohan batin diri sendiri.
Segala keterbatasan diri
tidak menjadi penghambat bagi seseorang yang percaya diri untuk beraktualisasi.
Seorang Buddha,
Meski hanya mengenakan jubah
dari bekas kain kafan,
Tetap percaya diri ketika
berhadapan dengan para dewa,
Bahkan seluruh dewa, raja dari
para dewa, hingga brahma,
Membungkuk memberi hormat
kepada seorang Buddha.
Kau tidak perlu mengundang hormat
dari orang-orang yang hanya mampu memberi hormat kepada mereka yang kaya raya
atau berkuasa.
Cukuplah bagi kita untuk
mengundang hormat makhluk-makhluk mulia dari alam dewata.
Orang bodoh menilai prestasi
dari sudut pandang duniawi yang temporer.
Seorang bijaksana, akan
menilai berdasarkan kemuliaan hati.
Seorang pertapa,
Meski miskin karena tidak
memiliki harta kekayaan apapun,
Percaya diri menghadapi kaum
dewa maupun brahma yang sakti,
Bahkan tidak gentar
menghadapi raja kematian.
Terhadap seorang Buddha yang
merupakan Arahat di Nibbana,
Bahkan dewa kematian tidak
lagi berani untuk menyentuhnya,
Tunduk sepenuhnya menghormat
kepada Arahat yang mulia dan telah sempurna.
Sumber kepercayaan diri
berada di dalam hati dan jiwa diri kita sendiri,
Bukan dari dunia di luar diri
kita sendiri.
